Leading battery and power management, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), industrial edge computing solutions provider Dialog Semiconductor today announced the launch of the smallest GreenPAK™ device SLG46811 with I2C communication interface on the market, further expansion The popular GreenPAK solution series.

GreenPAK products are very cost-effective configurable mixed-signal ASICs, and customers can customize designs through GreenPAK Designer software. GreenPAK products can achieve lower than microampere (uA) operating current consumption and nanosecond response time in many applications. They adopt circuit block diagram-based design and simulation, and connect through a standard PC USB port. Software tools can be used to achieve prototype design and Configuration. GreenPAK products are widely adopted by the industry. Every year, we ship hundreds of millions of GreenPAK devices to many large-scale industry-leading Internet of Things (IoT), computing, and industrial OEM manufacturers.

SLG46811 integrates traditional GreenPAK programmable logic, new shift register macrocell, a multi-channel sampling analog comparator, and a 92 x 8-bit pattern generator, all of which are integrated in a small 1.6mm x 1.6mm package in.

SLG46811 GreenPAK IC provides the smallest I2C communication interface. The multi-channel sampling comparator can sample 4 analog signals at the same time, providing flexibility for size-constrained applications. In addition, the shift register macrocell and 92-byte pattern generator help design engineers take advantage of its nanoampere-level operating current consumption, higher customizability, and customer-defined control.

John McDonald, vice president of marketing for CMBU of Dialog Semiconductor, said: "SLG46811 is an important new member of our GreenPAK product series. Current competitive solutions, such as discrete logic and analog ICs, mixed-signal MCUs or small FPGAs, are relatively expensive, Larger size, higher complexity, higher power consumption, and longer delay. SLG46811 incorporates all these new and traditional functions into an ultra-small package size, realizing a very cost-effective solution that not only improves In addition to traditional GreenPAK applications, GreenPAK products have been extended to new functions, helping design engineers to create more complex and compact digital projects."
