According to Nihon Keizai Shimbun, Tokyo Electronics' sales this year (March 2021 to March 2022) is expected to reach 1.6 trillion yen (95 billion yuan), an increase of 20% from last year's 1.36 trillion yen. Tokyo Electronics’ sales last year was also the highest ever, but it is expected to break this record this year.
Tokyo Electronics’ operating profit margin is expected to rise from 22% last year to 30%-40% this year.
According to data from the International Semiconductor Equipment and Materials Association (SEMI), the global semiconductor equipment market will grow by 15.5% this year to more than 70 billion U.S. dollars. By 2022, this number will increase by 12% to more than 80 billion U.S. dollars.
